Hat Making Summer School: Sinamay Fascinators
Ages: 16 - No Limit
Sinamay is a lustrous, loosely woven fabric derived from a cousin of a banana plant, Abaca. Learn how to manipulate sinamay to produce colourful flowers and fluid shapes. Using these simple techniques, we will make a swirl fascinator base and shapes to be incorporated with other embellishments. This finished fascinator will be a unique creation for your summer occasions. Students will finish one fascinator, more if time allows.
