Learn the basics of making glass plate negatives suitable for printing in any alternative process using the wet-plate collodion process. This workshop will cover the history, chemistry, exposure, and processing to get you to the negatives you need - all without ever touching a computer. We will proof our negatives using the Van Dyke brown process at the end of class.

Thursday: 6:30-8:30pm

Friday-Sunday: 9am-5pm

Prerequisites 
Introduction to tintypes or previous collodion (ambrotype or tintype) experience preferred but not required. Basic black and white darkroom experience is helpful but not required.
