Techniques in Egg Tempera
Ages: 18 - No Limit
Egg tempera is a painting process that uses egg yolks as a binder for pigments. In this course, artists will learn how to manufacture their own paint through the simple process of mixing finely ground pigment, water and diluted egg yolks. Students will also learn how to apply this historic paint to specially prepared surfaces. More advanced students will receive instruction on composition, color and drawing.
