Now we have many more tools, but less time; Objectives for learning include the challenges of painting from life while capturing information from one's location and focusing on composing what strikes the artist visually. Looking at historical paintings and demonstrations by the instructor, the avid or beginner painter will learn how to improve their skills to make successful paintings from their travels. Studies will be done in oil, watercolor, pencil, markers and final paintings will be done in Oil. Students will bring in photographic reference material on a digital device or printed to paint from.
