Monotypes for Advanced Beginners

This workshop goes beyond basic print making techniques to explore color interaction, Chine Colle and larger or series work in a studio environment. Discussions and ideas about finished work with an emphasis on how to exhibit a finished piece will be held in an informal format.

This workshop is intended for students who have had recent print room or printmaking class experience. Those who need step-by-step instruction, or to be certified for use of the print room facilities, should consider taking "Monotypes for Beginners".

What to Bring
1 small tube black oil based ink ( Charbonnel or Gamblin recommended, Speedball also acceptable) and suitable printmaking paper ( BFK or Arches Cover). Also:Optional: apron or work shirt, color inks, brayers.
